Thanks, Ginger. I was inclined to never go public with it. But there is something about my story that makes the best in people come out. And that made the effort of going public fully worth it.

Thank you for sharing this Pouya, you have a extremely special story, like so many other iranians whom have escaped iran. It really made me reflect on how privileged us iranians born outside iran are. No matter how much I miss iran every day, I am still forever greatful that I did not grow up there. I hope you have it better now, and that life is treating you well. Keep speaking up!

You are one of the strongest people I have known so far, reading this article I am in shock as to how this world remains unfair till this day and age leaving no ounce of independence or kindness but I am also feeling good that finally life's been treating you honestly well.
